Our History
Garden Bay Hideaway is a family-owned private campground located on the Sunshine Coast of BC. We have organically grown our campground from one 38' park model RV unit to also include 3 bunkie cabins, a luxury safari tent, and 2 serviced RV sites. Garden Bay is a peaceful resort community where visitors come to enjoy hiking, fishing, swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding in natural surroundings.

Our Location
Garden Bay Hideaway is located on 4.5 acres nestled at the base of Mount Daniel and next to the Garden Bay Provincial Marine Park. Garden Bay Hideaway is a nature lovers' paradise offering mountain views in a peaceful atmosphere. We are within walking distance to Garden Bay Lake and John Henry's Marina and General Store. It's a 5-10 min. drive to Katherine Lake, Hotel Lake, Mixal Lake, Mount Daniel hiking trailhead and Pender Hill hiking trailhead.
Our Amenities
At Garden Bay Hideaway, we believe that camping should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. That's why we offer a range of camping options and experiences for our guests. Choose from cozy cabins, trailers and safari tents to hiking, swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding and spa services.
The 2 bunkie group site includes a private outdoor kitchen, wood-fired hot tub and washroom facility with a hot indoor and outdoor shower.
The Park Model is fully equipped with 2 bedrooms (1 queen bedroom and 1 bunk room suitable for the kids), a bathroom and full kitchen on a private grassy site with a private deck, outdoor dining and fabulous sunsets.
The off-grid Safari Tent and off-grid Bunkie sites are under construction and details will be provided as we progress.
